From what I hear he listened to the Majority and the Minority of people are posting on this board. These guys didn't play with you for the last 4 years; you didn't have any problems winning state then, and I would think you are still a favorite this year.

The point is that we were counting on them for this year, and because of that, we don't have enough to field a team now. Everybody in league knows that we never have anybody sitting on the bench during games. We have 11 players with them, obviously 8 w/o them, and we could add Freddy to be our 9th player. We cannot add or pick-up any other players because the roster that we turned in had more than 13 players on it and I guess this rule is stated somewhere, and we cannot re-submit a roster that would allow us to do the afformentioned. Quandry due to having the minority cry foul!

I usually just skim over most posts on here, but, I find it interesting that the only D1 manager I have seen asking to let Lenny and Madsen play is Todd Tryon. Is that accurate? If so, why? Surely the rest of you don't want to win w/ two guys who have played on Sanford for what, the last five years, suddenly ineligible? If so, wow guys, time to take a step back. And, for you that are fine w/ this, or have cried to Gary, have you ever loaded up a team to play in a small town tourney or a tourney where money was on the line? If so, you are a hypocrite. Maybe you just shouldn't keep score this wknd so noone gets their feelings hurt when they lose.

I could care less if Lenny or Madsen or Sanford win yet another tourney. Heck, until all this happened I would've rooted for some underdog to win. I just shake my head at the guy(s) who spent time and energy trying their best to cripple the favorite who they can't beat at full strength just to win a stupid SD slowpitch patch. I wonder how worried these guys are that their names get out.

This makes as much sense as the year they made us play D1 State b/c we were top 4 in standings on Thursday for the first half of the year. We were the first and last team to ever have to do that.

Gary, being Gary, with all due respect, listened to the person(s) he trusted (kind of narrows it down a bit) and who cried the loudest. This wouldn't be the first time Gary was easily swayed and made a rash decision. Kind of funny that noone had a problem w/ these guys wearing a Sanford uni....just as long as they didn't play State.
